Publisher Description

Pace by Athlytic reads your Apple Watch health data and tells you what actually matters -- in plain language, not just charts and numbers.

Most health apps overwhelm you with scores, rings, and graphs. Pace takes a different approach. It monitors 35+ health signals, learns what's normal for you, and only speaks up when something is worth your attention.

HOW IT WORKS

Just wear your Apple Watch. Pace does the rest. No data entry required, no numbers to interpret. Each day, Pace checks your health data and gives you a clear summary of how you're doing.

WHAT PACE TRACKS

Sleep
- Duration, quality, efficiency, and consistency
- Deep, REM, and core sleep stages
- Breathing disturbance tracking

Vitals
- Heart rate variability (HRV) and resting heart rate
- Blood pressure trends with AHA classification
- Blood oxygen, respiratory rate, and wrist temperature

Cardio Fitness
- VO2 Max tracking with age and sex-adjusted context
- Walking heart rate trends

Activity
- Steps with personalized pacing and goal tracking
- Active calories, flights climbed, and standing hours
- Time in daylight with weather-aware context

Workouts
- Automatic detection from Apple Watch
- Duration, calories, and heart rate summaries

Body Composition
- Weight, lean body mass, body fat percentage, and FFMI
- Personalized baseline ranges with trend detection

Mobility
- Walking speed, steadiness, and symmetry
- Step length, stair speed, and six-minute walk distance
- 8 metrics that research links to long-term health

SMART HEALTH INSIGHTS

Pace learns your personal baselines over 60 days, then alerts you when something shifts. Instead of showing you a number and hoping you know what it means, Pace explains it:

- "Your heart rate variability is lower than usual"
- "Your blood pressure trend is elevated -- the AHA considers this Stage 1"
- "Your walking speed has declined -- this is one of the strongest predictors of overall health"

And when things improve, Pace tells you that too. No open loops -- when a concern resolves, you'll know about it.

HEALTH PATTERNS

Pace discovers correlations hidden in your data -- like how alcohol affects your HRV, or how daylight impacts your deep sleep. Every pattern is statistically validated and backed by peer-reviewed research. No guessing, no astrology.

WHAT MAKES PACE DIFFERENT

- Conversational health summaries written in plain English
- Alerts you when something needs attention, celebrates when things improve
- All monitoring is passive -- just wear your Apple Watch
- Personal baselines, not one-size-fits-all thresholds
- Weather-aware context for activity and daylight
- Every clinical threshold is backed by peer-reviewed research

PREMIUM FEATURES

- AI-powered health assistant -- ask questions about your data in plain English
- Health pattern discovery across 35+ metrics
- Smart notifications when something shifts
- Step goal celebrations with streak tracking
- Weekly health summary notifications
- Exportable PDF health reports to share with your doctor
- Trend charts for all metrics
- Step pacing and detailed concern views
- Reads alcohol, caffeine, hydration, and nutrition data from Apple Health

YOUR PRIVACY

All analysis happens on your iPhone using Apple's on-device AI. No cloud uploads, no accounts, no tracking, no data selling. Your health data never leaves your phone.

Pace by Athlytic -- your health, explained.

Version History New:

A new steps widget on the watch! And if you use a wheelchair it will show pushes instead of steps!

Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4:

HRV now uses your watch's Recovery HRV once it has 14 days of readings. SDNN history stays on the HRV page with its own usual range, and you can switch between the two on the chart.

Improvements:

A single low HRV reading no longer raises a concern on its own. Pace considers sustained changes, other vitals, and recent workouts before raising a concern

More Siri Integrations

Ask Pace anything with Siri in one sentence, like "How am i doing today in Pace" or "Ask Pace how did I sleep this week."

Looking at a metric? Say "Ask Pace what this means" or "Explain this in Pace" and Ask Pace answers about what's on your screen.

Say "Explain this in Pace" on Today, any metric, a concern, your workouts or Patterns, and Siri explains what you're looking at.

Bug Fixes:

Fixed setup screens cut off at the bottom on iPhone mini.

Fixed an issue where Wrist Temp might have had the wrong date for some users.

Thanks!
Gary & Jaclyn 27.0.1 Sep 30 New:

Pace Works With Siri!

Ask Siri for your Pace health status, any vital, or last night's sleep. Try "How am I doing today in Pace?" or "What's my HRV in Pace?" You can also say "Ask Pace..." followed by any question to open a conversation in the app.

Improvements:

Ask Pace now retrieves your latest available vitals and health concerns when answering, with clearer measurement dates and context.

Improved reliability during longer Ask Pace conversations.

Your Apple Watch now refreshes itself more reliably overnight, so the morning report is ready when you raise your wrist.

Watch widgets and the iPhone app now agree on what needs attention, and long text no longer truncates on watch faces.

Bug Fixes:

Fixed an issue where overlapping sleep records from third-party apps could inflate sleep duration or hide Apple Watch sleep stages.

Fixed an issue that could prevent Health Patterns from appearing or updating after a background refresh.

Fixed an issue where periods logged through other apps could be overlooked, causing an incorrect cycle phase to appear.

Thanks!

Bug Fixes:

Sleeping Heart Rate: The 6-month and 1-year charts now use your actual sleep sessions, so awake time and workouts can no longer inflate your nightly averages.

version 27.0

posted on 2026-09-17

Version History New:

Thanks!

A Pace Apple Watch App!

Pace Apple Watch Widgets!

These are both v1.0s, so any feedback is appreciated!

Improvements:

The assistant can now see your breathing disturbances.
Clearer status colors: amber for attention, red only when it matters, green range bars.
Blood pressure charts now show your first day of readings.

Bug Fixes:

Some minor fixes and optimizations.

Thanks!
Gary & Jaclyn 1.5 Sep 1 Load times have been improved.

Breathing Disturbances trends: New 60-day, 6-month, and 1-year charts with Apple's elevated threshold marked, so you can see if your nights are trending better or worse.

Some improvements and additions to Health Patterns.

Apple Intelligence Health Assistant has been improved.

Bug Fixes:

Sleeping Heart Rate: The 6-month and 1-year charts now use your actual sleep sessions, so awake time and workouts can no longer inflate your nightly averages.

Cardio Fitness: Decline alerts are now sized to your personal normal range, so a single easier run can't trigger a false alarm.

Smarter notifications: When your HRV or resting heart rate shift after a workout, Pace now tells you it's likely recovery, not a health alert.

Health Patterns: A blue dot now appears when there's a new pattern you haven't viewed yet, and clears once you open the section.

Thanks!
Gary 1.4.7 Aug 11 Version 1.4.6
- All-new onboarding experience with an example Daily Health Summary
- New guidance when Pace isn't receiving Apple Health data, with the exact path to check access

- Improved Dynamic Type and VoiceOver support

Enjoy!
Jaclyn 1.4.6 Aug 7 Quick update:

Gary 1.4.5 Jul 2 Travel Recovery Profile in Health Patterns.
